Wasteland is stunning in both characterization and action packed storyline. When the story opens, I immediately sympathized with David, a half-demon forced to obey his master after his mother signed a blood contract before he was born. Will he give into his demon side or fight the sexual urges for a forbidden, beautiful Guardian, Rebeka. The snarky, formal dialogue of a four hundred year old half-human was believable and engaging.
Long after I finished reading Wasteland, the characters still haunted me. This book is full of hot, sensual scenes, suspense, adventure, and forbidden love. Settle in before you pick up this book because you won’t put it down until the very end.
A must read for 2011!
