I loved this book more than Escapement. I'm not sure at this point what to think of all the new characters we've met. I'm not sure who I can trust and who will betray me. Yes, I say me because I feel like I'm a part of Semara, Ryder, and Raeth's inner circle. I hate the way that all the new characters are treating Semara. I suppose I can understand it, but I don't like it. I also hate that Semara and Ryder are being kept apart. I feel that the Triune should be allowed to be together at all times. Hell, they're supposed to save the world from the evil Queen, why keep them apart??? Then you have all the secrets that are revealed. I never imagined the twists and turns that Ciara took me through. And OMG, that ending was just horrible. I need the next book now. I need more Ryder and Semara. I love them as a couple. I'm loving this series so much.”

“Book two of the Neumarian Chronicles is loaded with non-stop adventure, mystery and colorful characters. Knight does a fantastic job keeping readers intrigued throughout, then leaving us hanging at the surprising finish and craving more.

“WOW!! These are my first thoughts after reading The Neumarian Chronicles. These are the first books I have read by this author and will not be the last! I read Weighted, then Escapement right after. I took about a 10 minute break and dove right into this one; Pendulum. I am in love with these books! The emotions ~ feeling for the characters, like I really knew them. I didn't put this book down; read it straight through. This series has completely sucked me in and has me captive; anxiously awaiting for the next book to come out.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes this genre and this book gets 5***** starts without a doubt.”

“This book is amazing :-) This book is Ciara's continuation of the Numarian Chronicles, with Escapement being book one. It follows Ryder and Semara through more obstacles, creatures and of course trusted allies turning on them. It also has a nice love story that begins in book one and grows even more in Pendulum. If you like this genre, this book is a must read!! I read it in about 3 hours. I couldn't put it down. Now I am stuck impatiently waiting for the next book in the series. I won't leave any spoilers. I will let you read the adventure for yourself :-) I feel you could enjoy this book as a stand alone; however, it is definitely better if you read Escapement first.”
